In an interview, Robin, the owner of Big Boy Robins, shared how his business has been delighting customers for 33 years. It all began when he lost his job and decided to learn the trade at his brother-in-law’s fast food business in Guayaquil. With that experience, Robin started his own venture in Bahía de Caráquez, opening a food stall near City Hall.
Today, Big Boy Robins has two locations: one in downtown Bahía, where Robin is hands-on, and another in Leonidas Plaza, managed by his wife.
Robin admits that the hardest part was starting from scratch, but over time and with practice, he has become highly detail-oriented and constantly seeks to innovate to offer the best to his customers.
